Shelters For Individuals & Couples Without Children Individuals and couples without children must rely on the individual shelter system which provides beds on a first come, first served basis. The following pages list shelters across the state (by region). People requesting space should call the shelter directly to see if there is a room available or a waiting list that they can be on. If you're having a hard time finding space, contact a local church group, the closest United Way or Catholic Charities chapter, Mass. Housing & Shelter Alliance (617-367-6447), or the Mass. Coalition for the Homeless (781-595-7570). |
