The Coalition offers rewarding volunteer opportunities for groups and individuals that want to assist families and individuals who are experiencing homelessness. Join us in helping people in need throughout the state by volunteering to organize a fundraising event or furniture drive, or rolling up your sleeves to paint furniture or assist in organizing and stocking household items.

Volunteer with Our Development Team

The Development Team organizes annual fundraisers to support the Coalition's programs and services.  We also engage in smaller fundraiser efforts, such as selling holiday cakes and cookies and holding gift wrap booths. Volunteers can choose opportunities that fit with their interests and availability. Volunteer with Our Advocacy Team

The Advocacy Team conducts grassroots organizing, provides public education, and advocates for housing and homelessness issues.  Throughout the year, the Coalition offers trainings and meetings to keep advocates up-to-date on important advocacy issues.  Visit our committee meetings page to learn more about our monthly Housing and Benefits Committee membership meetings and the Homeless Youth Providers Engaging Together (HYPET) meting. Volunteer with Our Direct Service Team

The Coalition's Direct Service Team provides clients with advocacy and direct access to furniture and household items. Our HomeLink help desks are located within community health centers, and our volunteers are trained to help patients who need assistance with housing.
