Back By Popular Demand On April 28, 2007 over 100 handbags and 200 guests filled the Wharf Room in the Boston Harbor Hotel for What’s In A Bag a handbag luncheon and auction which raised over 60,000 dollars to benefit the Massachusetts Coalition for the Homeless. This event featured handbags from Cindy Crawford, Martha Stewart, Ashley Judd, the Boston Red Sox, Cole Haan, Treesje, and many, many more. Due to the overwhelming response of this exciting event, the Coalition will again be presenting What’s in a Bag in April of 2008. The event will once again be featuring handbags from national and local celebrities, designers, and artists. From the classics to the one-of-a-kinds, this handbag auction has something for everyone! We are currently looking for donors, sponsors, and guests for the event.
