Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteers are essential.
The contribution of volunteers is crucial
to the life and mission of the Coalition and one we take seriously.
Volunteers make an enormous, concrete difference for our organization
and our mission. They feel they that the time they spend with us
matters AND they have fun! |
A partial listing of volunteer
opportunities includes:
- Events: We have a number of fundraising events during the
year that require the support of a large number of volunteers. During
the holidays, we need volunteers to staff our gift-wrapping activities.

Furniture Bank: Our Furniture Bank periodically seeks volunteers to
assist in a variety of tasks that include moving and arranging household
furnishings, sorting and inventorying donations, and other projects
that help us to keep our warehouse attractive, organized, and efficient.
- Internships: The Coalition offers periodic unpaid internships to support
our advocacy, public policy, trainings and Furniture Bank
